South Carolina Foundation for Educational Leadership Endowment Fund

The South Carolina Foundation for Educational Leadership Endowment Fund will allow us to partner with business leaders and individuals interested in giving a lasting and permanent gift as a source of funding for leadership development activities. It will provide future financial support for South Carolina’s public school leaders for generations to come.

There are five ways to support the Endowment Fund:

  • Cash: Contribute any amount, any time.

  • Stocks: Gift appreciated stock, which may eliminate federal capital gains tax.

  • Required Minimum Distributions from Retirement Accounts: Make charitable distributions, which may be eligible for exclusion from your income.

  • Bequest in Your Will or Estate Plan: Designate a specific dollar amount or percentage of the residue of your estate.

  • Life Insurance or IRA Beneficiary Designations: Name the Endowment Fund as full or partial primary or contingent beneficiary on your life insurance or retirement account.
